During the harvest Werner Naudé of Exsa Technical Support visited the United Kingdom receivers/supermarket suppliers. This was in order to see how their systems functioned and also to check the quality of Exsa’s grapes on arrival and in the foreign part of the supply chain. He visited Karsten UK that is the supplier for Sainsbury’s as well as MMUK, suppliers to Marks & Spencer. Further visits were to Primafruit that supplies Waitrose and Parallel that supplies the pre-prepared food market.
