On the 8th of August Exsa growers and personnel attended the annual post-harvest feedback and review session. This occasion is traditionally known as the “Porterville Day” as this is where the first meeting of this kind was held. This year it was hosted at Jason’s Hill Wine estate in the beautiful Slanghoek Valley.
In general this 2013 was a very successful year in terms of grower returns. This positive result after a bountiful harvest was expressed as a real sense of relief and gratitude particularly after the very real threat to the harvest from the labour unrest at the start of the season.
