Exsa Technical Manager Werner Naudé and Exsa growers Charl Viljoen, Heinz Meissner, JJ le Roux and Wessel Lötter recently visited Exsa receivers in the United Kingdom to visit markets and pack house facilities and meet with our trading partners in the UK.

“A trip like this is invaluable for us as growers as it is very important for us to see our produce in the marketplace, meet the buyers in person and to get feedback about our product where it is sold,” says Exsa grower Charl Viljoen. “Visiting the market we see first-hand what the condition is of our fruit when it is on sale to consumers as well as the challenges and competition that our fruit is facing in the market.

“Meeting with our UK partners and receivers in their environment is good for business and communication. Seeing the process for ourselves made us realise that our product is in good hands.”
